After Johann Sebastian Bach, Martin Stadtfeld now devotes himself to George Frideric Handel: For Händel Variations he arranged famous compositions from different creative phases of the baroque master for piano. The pieces sometimes appear intimate and puristic, as in Laschia ch‘io pianga, sometimes energetic, as in the Sarabande Variations. 
 
The album is suitable for everyone looking for demanding virtuoso pieces for concert performances, yet can also be used in advanced piano lessons. It conveys a highly individual view of Handel‘s music by pianist Martin Stadtfeld. Martin Stadtfeld‘s recording of Händel Variations was released by Sony Classical in 2019.
